At NovaEd AeroLab, we strive to deliver high-quality, well-planned classes while maintaining fairness and sustainability for all families. To ensure clarity and consistency, the following make-up policy applies to all programs unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing.

1. Classes Missed Due to NovaEd AeroLab or Facility Issues

Make-up classes will be offered for sessions canceled or missed due to circumstances beyond the student’s control, including but not limited to:

  • Instructor absence
  • Facility closures or scheduling conflicts
  • Weather-related cancellations
  • Other operational issues initiated by NovaEd AeroLab

These make-ups will be scheduled at the discretion of NovaEd AeroLab and may be offered as:

  • A rescheduled session
  • A combined session
  • An alternative instructional arrangement

2. Late Enrollment with Director Approval

If a student joins a class after the official start date with prior written approval from a NovaEd AeroLab Director, and no compensation has already been provided, NovaEd AeroLab may offer a reasonable form of academic accommodation.
The format and timing of such accommodation are determined solely by NovaEd AeroLab and are not guaranteed unless explicitly promised in advance.

3. Classes Missed Due to Student or Family Circumstances

Classes missed due to student-related reasons—including but not limited to illness, travel, family obligations, academic workload, or scheduling conflicts—are not eligible for make-up sessions, credits, or refunds.

At its sole discretion, NovaEd AeroLab may offer a complimentary make-up or alternative learning opportunity as a goodwill gesture; however:

  • Such gestures are not guaranteed
  • They do not create a precedent
  • No compensation or replacement may be requested or expected

4. Flight Shows, Demonstrations, and Off-Site Activities

Flight shows, outdoor activities, demonstrations, and any scheduled off-site events are considered official class sessions.
All standard attendance and make-up rules apply equally to these activities.

5. General Conditions

  • All make-ups, if offered, must be used within the same session or term unless otherwise approved in writing.
  • Make-ups are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for refunds or credits.
  • NovaEd AeroLab reserves the right to modify this policy as needed, with updates communicated to families in advance.
