Little Flyers

NovaEd AeroLab’s Level 1 program, Little Flyers, is designed especially for young learners in grades 1–3. With a strong emphasis on imagination, discovery, and hands-on exploration, this level introduces the foundations of aerospace and STEM in a fun and interactive way. Each 8-week block is built around exciting weekly projects like building paper gliders, crafting parachutes, launching water rockets, and simulating space missions with model planets and space shuttles.

Students are gently introduced to key scientific concepts such as gravity, lift, thrust, and simple machines through storytelling, art, movement, and age-appropriate experiments. No previous knowledge is needed—just a curious mind and a sense of wonder. Children work individually and in small teams to test their ideas, reflect on their results, and improve their designs.

All sessions are 90 minutes long and guided by passionate instructors who know how to spark excitement while keeping things accessible and safe. Whether building their first aircraft or launching their first rocket, young students leave each session inspired and confident.

This program is a perfect introduction to the world of flight and science for early elementary students.
