Aircraft Structures & Flight Mechanics – Grade 8+ Module A
$379.00
An advanced hands-on course where students test how materials, shape, and balance affect aircraft performance.
Description
Aerospace Engineering at a High School Level — Taught by Professionals
Aircraft Structures & Flight Mechanics is an advanced aerospace class for grades 8 and up at NovaEd AeroLab. Students study the principles that govern real aircraft — lift-to-drag ratios, structural integrity, weight distribution, material behavior, and airflow dynamics — through guided experiments and model-building using foam, balsa wood, and digital tools. Advanced aircraft engineering class high school Corona CA. Also available in Orange, OC.
Hands-On Experiments with Real Engineering Depth
This isn’t a simplified overview. Students run actual structural and aerodynamic tests, analyze data, and draw engineering conclusions from their results. The curriculum is designed to connect directly with high school physics and pre-engineering coursework, making it both rigorous and immediately relevant for college-bound students. Aerospace STEM class grades 8-12 Corona. Also available in Orange, OC.

Stress Analysis, Aerodynamic Testing, and Design Optimization
Students learn to conduct basic stress analysis on structural components, test aerodynamic performance across different wing geometries, and optimize designs based on quantitative results. These are the same analytical frameworks used by working aerospace engineers — delivered in a hands-on format by instructors who use them professionally. Flight mechanics class teens Southern California.

A Foundation for Aerospace and Engineering Careers
Whether your student is considering aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or a STEM-adjacent career, this course provides one of the strongest hands-on foundations available at the high school level in Southern California. Available in Corona and OC. Try a free class to evaluate fit
